Jingles & AO for a smooth recovery ~ Adorable !

Sunshine Jingles & AO for a smooth recovery for “Miss Adorable” !

Bless you for giving her a forever home ~

Thanks again for posting the videos! I watch this thread closely and appreciate the updates! The eye looks really good for just after surgery. The cone sucks, yes, but is necessary! Jingling for an uneventful recovery, and keep those videos coming!

How is Adorable Kitty doing?

I have been away all week working at equine affaire mass. She has done very well, and her stitches come out tomorrow! Here is the incision now:

She looks so happy and peaceful.

Any more updates and photos? Videos? I love videos!

Any updates on this girl?

I always liked this poem anyway:

Oh what unhappy twist of fate
Has brought you homeless to my gate,
The gate where once another stood
To beg for shelter warmth and food?

For from that day I ceased to be
The master of my destiny,
While she, with purr and velvet paw
Became within my house the law.

She scratched the furniture and shed
And claimed the middle of my bed,
She ruled in arrogance and pride
And broke my heart the day she died.

So if you really think, oh cat
I’d willingly relive all that,
Because you come forlorn and thin
Well don’t just stand there - come on in!

Wonderful poem and wonderful of you to take in a cat with flaws. I have several myself, one is total blind and half crippled; another is missing an eye; and we just lost one who was missing part of a hind foot. We all have scars of one kind or another, some are just more visible than others. Kudos!

Thanks for asking. It;s been a hard day, my ex had to put our old golden mix to sleep today. I have been spending the last few days with them all i can. Abbi is doing great! She is up to almost 6 pounds now. I will try and shoot a new video for you guys soon

OOH, her is one I didn;t share yet- She has discovered the tub!

Since she can’t see, she cannot tell when it has water in it though- she has jumped in with me twice. She was thoroughly disgusted both times, but keep jumping in anyway.

What a happy, sweet kitty. She is so, so lucky to have found you.

I am so sorry about your dog. : (

Thank you so much for the video! She is so stinkin’ cute and I just love watching her explore the world in her own way! She put a huge smile on my face right when I really needed it.

Can’t believe its been so long! Abbi is all grown up and does not understand the scat mat AT ALL.

Best of all, just this last month she has finally learned to jump! She still squirms under the baby gates, but she can jump up into my lap. She CAN see some, but has no depth perception with only one eye, so she leaps in my general direction and grabs with all four feet when she feels me- I keep her nails trimmed!

No further flares at all in the remaining eye, and she is licky and snuggly like all oranges.

What a perfect place for a sight impaired kitty to play! You are lucky to have each other. I can just imagine her look when she lands in a tub full of water.

Oh wow! She’s gorgeous! I loff orange kitties  nice to hear that she’s doing so well!
