Plus, it’s not like the resulting foal pops out with that movement, it will have to be trained to move like that

Plus I know lots of trainers who are really good at removing all that horrible expression, forwardness and desire to please. I can PM you, and I promise if you send the horse to them, in a few years you will get a nice flat moving horse that wont ever spook at a thing, or respond to light driving aids, and the horse will never ever go behind the vertical:yes:
Oh yes, please PM, I can’t sit the trot, I need it to be flatter!!

He has some foals on the ground already.[/QUOTE]
Not true
That is similar to Hickstead’s fee. He has to be proven, too.
BTW “Toto” means child in Swahili.
Let’s not forget the exchange rate. As of 2/4/10 5000 euros = $6,921.86, so it’s really almost $7000. Quite the hefty chunk of change!
I’m not saying he’d be easy to do a gp test on, I don’t agree with you there. I’m just saying he doesn’t look erratic or terrified or out of control. he just looks…enthusiastic.
I realize the top riders make horses that are not easy, look easy. I am comparing him to other horses at that level with other skilled riders on them.
Some horses can be revved up, gotten very fit, and charged up and very, very hot off the leg and seat by a top rider. If they’re in a different program, where they’re less fit, less grained up, and the work is a little slower and easier, they change and gear down. They get a little easier off the leg, and a little less go-go-go.
I think it’s really hard to see a horse in one situation, and predict what he’d be like in a very different one. But Totilas does in fact, not get freaked out in the ring, he just gets very quick and eager.
