Interesting comment as my trailer was empty and tried it with the stablizer bars and then without and Expedtion vibrated, yet my friends truck a diesal dodge 250 hauled it like it was made of paper, very different. For 19 years I’ve been hauling it with the Dodge 1500 ,not very strong but hauled it loaded ok but then the oak tree branch fell on it and the insurance totaled. it
Different subject but if your air bag gets messed up like mine did when the limb hit it the truck is totalled (insurance) because you can’t replace those old air bags. Ah it was in perfect condtion ,yes a 2002 but ran great. What a loss, I had the Expedition and thougth it should work for short hauls but no way.

I am using stabilzer hitch and bars . It was adjusted for this Expedition by people I respect.
However I did notice the front end was up a little even with a empty. trailer . I lossen the chains a notch which lowered the front some but didn’t stop the vibration.
Question: is the Expedition aluminum like the new trucks are? I am wondering if the vehicle has a lighter weight and composition which is contributing to this problem.
