They do make an extension to address this. Don’t ask me if it works, never have tried one or even seen one. I agree that the turning can be an issue, also the length of the nose of trailer might be too long, some trailers have longer ones than others.[/QUOTE]

I have this and absolutely love it. My trailer pulls like a dream and I’ve never had any issues with it.

I have the nine inch hitch extender and it works great. Mine is on the trailer, not the truck side. I think that is better for the weight distribution according to my mechanic brother.
