He looks very nice.
If you back him up he’ll stop peeing. Gives you a chance to put him in a stall or take him outside to finish.
If he’s gotta pee he’s gotta pee Normally I’m quicker with the scoop bucket on the odd occasion he does pee in the crossties. Little hard to be quick when I’m down trimming
I use a chalk or dry erase marker depending on the coat color and a measuring tape to measure and mark the height of the clip on each side. Then I use blue painters masking tape - you have to do pieces of tape that overlap so when the horse moves his neck or legs it doesn’t rip the tape. I use the masking tape to have a clean line; however, there are a few places where the direction of hair changes and you need to get the blades a little higher than the tape line to make it even. I’ll usually clean those areas up once I remove the tape.
Honestly the hardest spot to clip is the front of the shoulder where it curves into the neck and the hair is growing at an angle and not parallel to the tape.
