I am visiting Pegosa Springs and would love to ride into the mountains. There are several outitters who will take you…anybody been here and done it? I would really appreciate any suggestions.

We have ridden at Astraddle on several half day rides, they are west of town and it is a very nice ride.
We did the all day ride with Wolf Creek once and really enjoyed that also. There are a few points that you are looking straight down off the edge of the trail and hoping the horse is having a good day…
The scenery on both rides is breathtaking, you will not be disappointed.
Be ready for a chilly start to the ride, but it warms up quickly.
