Good point Mango20. It seems like people never plan or drive where they can merge in reasonably. I don’t know what has happened to driving skills the last ten years.
Thank you for pointing out 9B can be really busy, if not brutal! I will be in Jacksonville either at 7 am or 10 am, unless I do the Ocala to Gainsville and Starke route. What time would make sense to you if you were taking the 295 loop (east or west). In other words is the traffic any better at 7 am or at 10 am on 295? (I tried the Google Maps traffic estimate. I did not see the feature and read that this is an option on Android devices.)
