Triple Crown Lite or 30% supplement?

No hard feelings Winding!

I understand the ā€œweaknessā€ aspect now, thanks for the details.

Have you looked into the ā€œActivating Your Horse’s Coreā€ book? It’s pricey for what it is but it’s got really good in-hand exercises which (obviously) engage the core, but more than that, engage that flexion of the back end. Sort of like ā€œstatic flexionā€ - flex/lift and hold. Also, if you haven’t incorporated backing, that’s really useful for strengthening the SI area (again assuming just weak, not damage). My TB mare tends to be hyperflexible there, and when I was doing regular backing in-hand with her, the improvement was immense in fairly short order

Also - if you don’t have one, a BOT mesh sheet might help, even if it’s only on for a couple hours a day, preferably taken off right before he’s worked.

Have and use the BOT mesh sheet! Love it!

I feed the 30% to all of mine, the 18 year old OTTB gets Low Starch as well. I don’t have any IR horses, just some thrifty types that don’t need a lot of concentrates, so I found I would be feeding too little Lite to be a complete feed. They all get beet pulp as well.
