Trivia question - hunt scene in "Marnie"

I missed The Red Fox Inn![/QUOTE]

Yep, and she even gets a lift to the stable yard in the Studebaker with “The Red Fox Inn” on the side from the Inn.

Per IMDB.com, the filming locations:

30th Street Station - 3001 Market Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
(train station)

Atlantic City Racetrack, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA
(racetrack)

Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia, USA

Middleburg, Virginia, USA
(horse-riding)

Red Fox Inn - 2 E. Washington Street, Middleburg, Virginia, USA
(Marnie’s hotel)

Unionville, Pennsylvania, USA
(mansion)

This was one of my favorite Hithcock movies. Probably, because of Forio and the hunt scene.

I was pretty wowed when she jumped on Forio in her fancy dress and galloped off. Hey, I was a kid.

Later, when I was in high school, we had a film class and had to do a paper on film symbolism in a Hitchcock film. I chose Marnie.

Boy, was Sister Judith :o   when I gave my oral report on the different (sexual) symbols in the movie Marnie!!!

And I know WHICH mansion, having just read the 10/5 Chronicle.

doesn’t she pass the master, and end with the fox :lol:in her lap?

there was actually a plot?

I think the only part of that movie I saw was that scene:lol:

Stock pin is not on wrong for Unionville… where it is fastened vertically for identification of the hunt members Even. if a Unionville rider makes an Olympic team and wears a stock tie in Showjumping or Dressage

That’s interesting!

The sad scene where Forio falls is so fake, but at least they didn’t use a real horse.
