Does anyone know if these are safe for use on horses? Maybe braided into mane and/ or tail?

They’re just a pyrethroid, a macrolitic lactone and a synergist.
Pyrethroids & the synergist are common in fly sprays, and we deworm with macrolitic lactones. Nothing there is novel to horses.
I’ve had them braided into manes for a few days now and think they’re making a difference. Haven’t seen anything concerning.
Some insecticide tags have organophosphates, which are pretty toxic. I’d avoid those. If you want to try something cheaper/without the abamectin, there are several tags that are just a pyrethroid & synergist.
