I have this same problem!
Small acreage (2 acres, smaller than you). 1.5 horses (horse and a mini). I built myself a 3 bin system out of railroad ties that were lying about from a previous owner. The first two piles I DID turn by hand. Hoo boy that was back breaking. Now my third pile (in the first bin) is almost full and steaming beautifully, so I know it’s composting well. So now I need to turn the third, second and finally the first pile over in to their respective bins and I don’t think I have it in me.
We do have a tiny tractor but where I built my bins it’s going to be hard to get in and maneuver. And none of it is cooked enough to use yet. So, I just keep piling it until a solution hits me
