Ulcers despite proper treatment??

For sure! I wasn’t supporting the compounded is better than brand name statement, merely saying that my own horse is a contrary little so and so, and not to give up if one mode of treatment doesn’t seem to work .

I have not dealt with equine ulcers, but I myself have stomach issues. I have had endoscopes that don’t show much (mild gastrits), but take me off Nexium and ouch! Is is possible horses need long term consistent management for stomach issues like many people do? Sometimes I just don’t think the 30 day course cuts it. Maybe horses Get other stomach issues other than ulcers too.

I haven’t read all posts but maybe try ranitidine instead? I’ve heard some people have used Tums for horses but those are candy for me.

Lol yeah pretty much what I just posted.
