UPDATE: Horse can’t reach to ground

Awww thanks. It’s been a very long road and it’s emotionally and physically exhausting. It’s a strain on my marriage and my business. But I am doing my best on all the things I can.

UPDATE:
We’re one week into daily Equioxx. There was some gas colics the first couple days. But now seems tine. He actually ate a few bites of grass yesterday!
He has the slightest excitability response (to the Equioxx) I think. Not enough to stop the med.

Acupuncture and chiro yesterday. Adjustments at poll, right scapula, right hock, bilateral SI, some very tender right lumbar rib heads. (He lays on his right side mostly).
Will repeat in 3 weeks and potentially do vaccines then.
He will be finishing misoprostol this next week. Then another week of sucralfate.

I’ve got a good feeding plan with help of nutritionist:
He gets hay stretcher with his supplements and two handfuls of Outlast.
Then I syringe his meds. Then 1/4 grain.
His total daily feed is now divided into 4 meals. His grain has no additives or supplements (a few handfuls of Outlast). He’s hoovering it up!
About 2-4 hours later he gets another food portion.

He’ll be transitioning to Purina Equnr Senior only eventually but this will me a while.
