On the way to go see her.
SarahKing - I don’t know. I will have to ask the vet.

Update on Shade - She is really looking good. Much happier today and ate well for me. I`m hoping she will be able to come home in a couple of days.

Much I`m hoping she will be able to come home in a couple of days. :D[/QUOTE]
I bet Shade is hoping the very same thing.
Yippee for Shade…jingle, jingle, jingle.
Shade’s fans are rooting her on. Im sure you will be thrilled to have her home soon.
Another good day. Don`t have her counts yet, but we visited and went for a walk in the park. She acted like she wanted to hussle with my husband and started stalking a squirrel.
She is getting stubborn for them. Not aggressive, just some passive resistance - 80lb lump. When we are there she is her normal self, which is great. Eating is still iffy. She will eat some chicken, but only from certain people and us. Other than that she has been a very good girl for them.
Vet says if counts are better today, she might be off fluids tomorrow and might come home Wednesday
terrific news cnigh! I will keep my fingers crossed that her levels continue to come down and she comes home quickly!
Its great news for humans and animals when they are putting energy into attitude;) C’MON HOME SHADE!!!
Fingers and toes crossed for a homecoming in the very near future. Yay Shade!
I can’t wait until you announce she is home!!!
Any word on how Shade is doing today? Sure hope she’s ready to be sprung.
Shadey is off the IV flush. Her counts are leveling off, the creatinine is down a bit at409 but the Urea is up a bit at 20. She is still nauseous and was given meds for that yesterday. Other than that she is ok, not as much energy as the day before. She is eating and drinking.
I am really hoping she will come home today. I dont think I can handle another visit and leave her. The begging to come with us is killing me. I broke down last night and haven
t stopped crying yet.
I actually dreamed she made one of those Home Again trips and was waiting at the door for me. I woke up crying.
The vet said not to worry too much about her, but I am so scared she will start to fail again.
Hang in there. I have had a very sick beloved pet in the hospital before for an extended stay, it is HARD. Continued jingles for Shade.
Checking in for an end-of-the-day report
Shade update bump
Jingle, jingle, jingle.
Shade is home
My family/pack is complete again. She is happy sleeping on the couch beside me. She is not letting me out of her sight, which is fine with me.
Her counts are down a bit more and she is acting a bit better. Shade is not out of the woods yet with the kidneys or the pancreatitis. She`s on a few medications for the next few weeks, wish me luck getting them into her.
For now I am going to watch her like a hawk and enjoy our time together.
Welcome home Shade! Now be a good girl, take the icky meds like you should and eat for your mama!
when does she go back for a checkup?
Bet everybody sleeps better tonight. Good girl, Shade…
(and good luck with the pills)
