I uploaded some more pictures to her photobucket album, including a couple of outdoor shots. That was not easy as she kept running around and refusing to be still long enough for me to grab a decent photo. And I will get a video of her doing her basic commands soon. Just haven’t had the time (work and school and family).

I’m not sure exactly what did it, but Suzy was adopted two weeks ago.
My DH and I drove over 6 hours one way with her to meet her new family. I know when Suzy turned from me and went to her new person for reassurance. (She would only get a rub or two from and “it’s okay.”) Her new family has sent me several pictures and in every single one she looks completely relaxed. She has another hound to play with and a HUGE backyard.
It took 8 long months for the right family to come for her but I feel good knowing she is where she is meant to be.
