Not speaking for the general public (we feel we had more information than allowed in the trial) but based on LK and her family’s postings here, and lack of evidence in the trial, most of us, I think, believe it was self defense or a frame job.
They were doing some seriously nefarious and criminal plotting against him and she and her boyfriend were impeached very thoroughly on the witness stand.
I think that many are bothered by the whole situation and the events that transpired that day, to be fair.
Zero proof that this actually happened. No forensics. The testimony of two people, one of who admitted to lying under oath who were both impeached on the stand.
I’m still personally of the mind that something happened, there was grappling for the gun, and in all that LK got hit.
I do also think that it’s possible that much of MB’s physical injuries took place before LK’s.
Just my opinion though.
And to add to your post - they were two people who are self admitted druggies. And confirmed grifters. And who were engaged in a campaign of their own devising to destroy him professionally, financially, emotionally. One of them even admitted to that fact on the witness stand.
I would suggest you dig in and investigate then. Use the search function, and the main participants names. Or try Google.
Plenty of information out there, and it is a great thing to understand you should withhold judgement until you know the entire story.
Who says Michael is the one that shot Lauren? I personally don’t think he was the one that shot her.

what “people” - people who wonder about other people going to a safe taking out a gun and shooting someone? I’m legitimately asking if that doesn’t concern you? Why does that make you defensive. Are you unable or unwilling to answer it?

We just had a 2 year long running troll banned today. Her favorite slur was to call us all delusional. We aren’t looking to pick up another poster just here to be a pot stirrer.
The evidence that Michael took the gun from the safe and down to the house is VERY thin. In the trial it amounted to nothing more than an insinuation. The independent evidence that the gun was even in Michael’s hand that day is nonexistent. Meanwhile Lauren was bragging all over about having had recorded Michael and Ruth discussing his putting up of the gun, had access to the safe, and got everyone kicked out of the barn leaving her with free access to be able to access the safe the night before the incident. Throw in a few 911 calls from Michael about Lauren trying to access locked areas of the barn on the days in between and it paints a picture.
If you want to keep discussing, fine, but you’d get a better reaction if you stop implying that we are all BSC. Your tone is running close to our recently banned. Your questions were answered, you just chose to ignore the answer you received, just like the recently banned.
So if a film is being made about this story, which parts do you hope to see re-enacted?

I want a picture of the scene and someone with a Sharpie drawing the supposed path LK took to get Rob’s phone, then her phone, then beat Michael with the phone, then do some little dance where she went away but didn’t go away… It made no sense.

Along those lines, I’d like to see a bullet trajectory reenactment for LK where the left handed 6ft plus Michael pulls a gun out of his pants and shoots with his right hand in an upward trajectory for someone who is around a foot shorter than he is like was described in the testimony.
That would be some incredible movie magic.
Maybe add a few other scenarios to find which one best fits the forensics.
