If it was outside birdseed or heck even inside if you own birds & had possible droppings… you may have other problems than giardia… they have their own bacteria they can pass on.
have a fecal done for sure! Also, if it had peanuts they can carry aflatoxins (no idea if that is spelled right) so a trip to the vet becomes a must.

A friend of mine almost lost her dog to that situation.
It was actually the raccoon feces that was the culprit.
I’d bring her to the vet as well - 4 days is a long time and dehydration can get serious as well as she should have passed this by now. My chi puppy got “garbage gut” from a foray his big sisters brought him on - almost had pancreatitis but was not conclusive. He was VERY sick for 2 weeks and had to stay at the vet the whole time. They do have a shot to help with the diarrhea, and probios was used as well as some antibiotics. I watch him carefully as his tummy is more sensative than it was before this episode…
Yes, please get your dog to the vet ASAP! Even if it is just a regular upset stomach, your dog is almost certainly dehydrated by now!!
For a “normal” upset stomach, fast for 1 day (with LOTS of water), then something bland (like mushy rice, and the miraculous canned pumpkin) the next day, then if it’s not better, vet trip.

Sorry - thanks for all the replies. Yup, it was birdseed, and she seems to be fine now. Pumpkin did the trick until I could get her to a vet, and you bet I’ll have pumpkin on hand from now on. Great stuff, and she loffs it.
