Veredus Boots

Does anybody know how the sizes of Veredus boots run- if they run smaller or bigger? I’m thinking of getting my mare, who’s a 15.2 hand welsh thoroughbred, with smaller cannon bone. I recently bought her a pair of eskadrons (standard size) and they were a tad bit big for her, and I think that’s why they were rubbing her. I’m looking for something that doesn’t rub… Thanks!

I would say they run large. I bought a set of M for a big-boned Warmblood who wears an XL in EquiFit.

I agree with Kand C, I have mediums for my 17 hh draftxTB

Agreed with the above posters - I had size mediums that fit both my 15.2 and 17 hand WBs

I bought a medium for my 16.1tb and my 15.3tb. They fit my 17.2tb. A bit too big for my 15.3 mare.

Love the boots though!

My mediums fit a 16.2 hh warmblood, as well as a finer boned 15hh horse

My mediums are a bit big for my 15.3hh fine boned warmblood. The backs in size medium fit perfect, the fronts are a tad big in the fetlock.

They run big.

A friend used the mediums on a fine 15.2 hand TB mare. They were OK, but not ideal. The mediums did not fit her 17.3-hand big-boned WB.

My gigantic warmblood wore a large pretty easily. My smaller mare (16.1 TB) wears medium and they are a tad bigger than I would like but she is very finely boned.

probably a medium my frien accidently bought a small for a 16h grade gelding and they were OK but personally I wouldve exchanged for a medium

I think it depends on the boot. I ordered the open fronts with the matching hind ankles. Dover only had them in one size, medium, which looked like bracelets on my well-boned KWPN. I couldn’t even do the hook and stud closure in the mediums. Ordered larges from Mary’s Tack and Feed and the fit perfectly. His other open fronts are CWD in size 3.

He has a long and rather robust cannon I discovered in my search for boots. He is a large in his dressage sport boots too.
