Very premature foal

She could have called a halt to this any time. She flogged it for the clicks

I can see getting lost in the weeds of it all, for a month maybe. But this long? 100% agree with you.

“Angel” Seven. IIRC she has already called him her little angel at times.

My thoughts are the vets would have done the same thing, just not publically, as a learning experience and would euthanize and use the body for learning vs sending home to have a tragic ending.

The whole social media thing is probably throwing them a loop as the owner would/will get a huge blowback from followers if she euths Seven and would lose $$$.

The whole comparing him to a disabled human should have been nipped in the bud and a good teaching moment, but she chose to exploit it for the $.

Here’s one of the latest photos. This poor boy is so jacked up I’ll be surprised if he makes the trip from the university to home without being injured.

Horrible! Besides his awful legs and looking painful, does he not look chubby?

I quit looking at his photos and video’s a long time ago. Is that picture above Seven? I know it says it is, but I need to actually be told it is. This is the most disgusting photo of ANY horse. ABUSE!

I don’t think he is actually chubby. I think his body is bunched up due to pain.

I hate to bring up the possibility of yet another tribulation for this poor creature, but I wouldn’t be surprised if laminitis is next on his list.

He’s got the throatlatch of a cribber too. His whole body is just so misshapen.

They say “no foot, no horse” – in poor Seven’s case it’s “no legs, no horse” :disappointed_relieved::persevere:

This is unsustainable.

I still can’t believe my eyes of this blatant abuse. That photo is so sad. What gets me most, is the huge number of people who think this ok. This world we live in. I am just so disgusted.

I watched the entire video update and I swear to God, with one exception, the videographer was careful to not show Seven’s entire body the few times he moved around.

He’ll be dead the first time a stray dog gets in a pen with him because he can’t get away or defend himself.

The laminitis will occur after the trailer ride home because of the stress on his body. Do you wedge him up in the trailer or leave him loose in a heavily bedded stock trailer?

Katie, you have a huge sh&t show on your hands.

If they leave him loose he’s going to fall. If they tie or wedge him he’ll be unable to choose the most comfortable position for himself.

This is horrible, just horrible.

How far away/how long will the drive be for him?

Up thread it said 3 hrs.

That is going to be brutal. Going from a year plus of solid ground to 3 hours of being jarred around. I wonder if they will put supports on his legs, not just shipping wraps.

The only way I see him surviving that trip is if they pad the walls of the trailer and put about 2 feet of straw in it. And then tranq him so he just lays down the whole time. But if they think they can haul him standing, with that mini in the same trailer, I can’t see it ending well.

That is Seven. I think it was a screenshot from the last video.
