After much reading and recommendations I think I will start my dog on Vitamin E for her possible DM. Whats the usual dose? Do I just use the human ones from the grocery store or do they sell special doggy ones? If I need dog specific ones where is the best place to get them? Thanks, I also have a call into the vet to discuss all this but just in case I forget to ask, I wanted to ask here.

I might be mistaken, but the stuff from the grocery store should work well for a dog - and not break the bank. Pet meds tend to be pricey.
depending on the size, a 400 unit capsule should do nicely for the dog.
We use human-grade Vitamin E for our dogs. We usually give them one 400 capsule with their salmon oil we put in their food. It helps their body to absorb all of the goodies from the salmon oil.
Make sure it’s the natural vitamin E, not the synthetic. d- as opposed to dl-
