Watching Rolex online?

I think Marilyn will have to be seriously considered for the team. Yes, she is inexperienced - but only as an eventer. She has competed Internationally for the US for years (I don’t even remember how long ago it was I watched her at Dublin in the Nations Cup - I believe she was leading Speed Rider that week, too…) - so she is a proven cool customer.

I think that puts her in a very different situation from the other **** rookies!!

By the way, the Olympics are **** now? They used to be a tad less - with lots of option fences, so the less qualified countries could compete and perhaps even get around. Is this still true?

Sorry to interrupt - but is the inspection live anywhere? It’s not streaming live (on the rolex site) and the suspense is killing me.

They talked about that, she and her horse and several other folks are already ‘qualified’ so they are saving their horses for potential Olympic selection. In essence they got a ‘bye’ in competing here based on past performances by the selection committee. So much smarter this year.[/QUOTE]

That makes sense. Thanks!

RF Rex withdrawn?

Anyone know?

ME TOO!!!

Is stadium going to be live on USEF network or will it just be on regular NBC television at 2pm?

I assume both, but I could be wrong. Definitely a live feed from www.FEITV.org, but you may have to be a subscriber.

And, can someone explain what happened to the lovely Slate River? Read a blurb that said she was sent back to jump a jump, and yesterday had 20 jump and something like 58 time. Now the score is reset to just 2 time.

Happy to see he’s higher up on the leader board now! Just wondering, as it seems like an odd situation, but clearly resolved.

I’ve been reduced to following twitter for updates on who has been withdrawn.

So far USEF Network reports RF Rovano Rex, Manolo Blahnik, and Slate River are out.

And Manolo Blahnik, per the ticker tape at the top of the stream on USEF Network. Bummer for both- hope the horses are all right.

Ok - glad I’m not the only one. I went to FB and am trying to keep updated via the USEA page.

That isn’t cutting it. I want it live, dagnabbit!

I’ve never understood why they don’t stream the jog. It would be easy enough to do…

Icarus was also withdrawn, as per the Leader Board http://scoring.rk3de.org/leaderBoard.html

Hope ALL the horses are OK!!!

ABSOLUTELY!!!

Were the 21 points taken off? Several riders (3 that I can count) moved up over night. (before the job and the w’s)

If it is people with 21 points removed that moved up in the standings, perhaps the officials decided that one of the frangible pins on course was defective and came down too easily. There were a few riders who had fences “down” without refusals or major problems who were assessed the automatic 21 penalty points. This is just a guess on my part, but maybe they successfully contested and had the penalties removed. Hopefully, that information will be included in morning updates.

I hope that is true!

21 points!

I was going to post a question to ask how the h**l do you get a 21pt. penalty? Thought it might have something to do with a jump coming down. Now I know, thanks!

will the SJ be on NBC at 12:00? I wish they would do a recap of XC before they showed the jumping…

They usually show highlights.
