Way to easily transport tack cleaning supplies?

True, true. I guess I wasn’t thinking of the cost of a container to schlep everything back and forth!

I’m just concerned the conditioner won’t fit…it’s in a larger round tub! That’s the thing I’m having a hard time fitting into those types of caddys. Maybe I could take a suggestion from up-thread about putting a small amount into a smaller travel sized container, though!

Container could be peanuts.
I just like removing any extra steps from anything I have to do :sunglasses:

Split the conditioner into 2 smaller containers so you have more flexibility in storage, and then if you decide to have 2 sets of everything, you don’t need to buy conditioner. I put a bit of Lederbalsam in an empty tin so I can keep one at the barn for quick conditioning but keep the main container at home with all of my “deep cleaning” tack supplies.

How about this? One container for each of the 4 items: sponges, a hand towel, conditioner and for cleaner, if you’re using saddle soap I recommend grating a bar of it, and melting it into one of the containers in the microwave. (I do this grate/melt thing with a tupperware - keeps bar soap in an easy to use and transport format)

Now that’s an interesting idea!!

I would worry that the sponge or towel would get musty/moldy in a closed container between uses.

Edit to add - this is in response to the comment about putting the sponge and towel into closed containers.

Attach a mesh bag to the outside of whatever container, and put the sponge/towel in that

I already use a fabric bag. I was referencing the idea of putting the sponge and towel into the above containers, which was being discussed.
Sorry, I will edit to make it more clear that is what I am talking about.

If you decide to pour your spray into a smaller bottle, you could probably fit everything into an empty diaper wipe container (the ones that’s are hard plastic with a pop up lid on top).

When I go to clean tack, I take everything out of the diaper wipe container, put water in the container to use while I clean, dump the water, put everything back in the container, and leave the lid open for moisture to escape. It’s pretty compact for traveling around/keeping it all in one place.

Ha, sorry! I obviously missed that connection

A Smartpak supplement bucket would work after decanting into smaller containers. It has a handle, you can use it as a bucket, has a lid and you can drape small wet cloths over the handle.

The Dollar Tree near me always has these shower caddies for a dollar each, and in fun colors: https://www.dollartree.com/divided-3-compartment-plastic-caddies/25164?gclid=Cj0KCQjwjvaYBhDlARIsAO8PkE3EgqtfSbzR3DvehU0XLoQ7eIBSa4otaCNJzGVm_fMQxfYVFiAK2mEaAugREALw_wcB

I did buy one of those once.
The problem with them is that when you have little stuff, like snaps, it falls thru the cracks,.
Holes are too large for smaller items.
If the holes are there for air and water flow, much smaller would work better to hold stuff in there.
