The lady I buy meat from does the same thing–she has an Airbnb in her barn loft, and put up a TREE HOUSE that can also be rented this last year. It’s pretty cool! Apparently she’s always booked solid, too.
She’s the queen of hustle, always has something new at the farm. Breeds fancy sheep, livestock dogs & doodles, does weddings, sells eggs, has a little farm store for locally produced stuff. Butchers turkey, pigs and cows. I’m always impressed with the different ways she finds to monetize her place!
