We need some cute Kitty pics to cheer us up

Um, of course she didn’t bite him! That would be SO wrong . . . And SO mean . . .

Yes, she did. Bit him on the ear and he got mad and left. She may need to be reformed - she has started to really beat up on Tiny for no reason. They’ve gotten along fine for almost a year, and in the past two weeks, he’s taken to hiding either in my bathroom or in a cupboard in the laundry room. I don’t know what her deal is.

Itty Bitty has poor social skills.

I have one like that. He likes to wrestle but his mellow brother doesn’t. Causes all sorts of trouble.

Oh he coos and writhes around - he loves belly rubs! He lets you know when he has had enough by flipping over and putting his face in you palm - like ok - time for chin skritches! He’s like a big fluffy puppy.

She is bored and treating Tiny like prey. He runs away so she chases him.
She may be trying to get him to play but it sounds like he isn’t into her.

Jackson Galaxy has some good ideas about training cats to be more assertive.

Hammie needs to open a can of whoop a$$ on her.

He really does, but he’s a lover, not a fighter . . .

The two new kittens that showed up a couple of months ago, Tasha and Trouble, are no doubt related to Ham somehow - same ears, same eyes, same coloring. Trouble, the little boy, is so much like him - mellow and chill. Tasha, on the other hand, is a holy terror. She bosses around Trouble the way Itty-Bitty bosses around Hammie.

Tasha may give Itty Bitty a run for her money when she grows up. I hope she leaves Tiny alone soon. And quits biting Hammie!

Does Itty-Bitty bother Mick or Maximus? I would guess probably not. They know who they can bother and who won’t allow it. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Actually, she does. It feels like she’s figuring out if she can climb the social ladder or not. What happens is she starts something, there’s a slap-fest, and the other cat decides she isn’t worth messing with and goes away - making her think she’s won.

That’s what kept happening at my house when Duncan and Maysie were younger. He kept provoking everyone and trying to fight and everyone would run off or just hide. He would go after Maysie in particular because she would fall down and not really fight back. Well, that came to a screeching halt one day. I came home from work and the house was full of mostly Duncan fur and a bit of Maysie fur. I guess she got sick of him and just flipped out and beat the crap out of him. He stayed away from her after that and de-escalated his whole attitude. Sorry not sorry buddy…you asked for it.

I hope it doesn’t come to that at your house. But SOMEONE needs a smack.

That’s really polite of him. Our dearly departed Leia (female tuxedo) would also offer up her belly. You knew she was done with skritches when you would get teeth at the wrist and rabbit kicking hind legs on the arm. She never broke the skin, though.

ETA: She never broke the skin, though …unless you pulled your hand away. You had to wait until she was done with the fake biting and kicking, then you could, slowly, remove your hand. :upside_down_face:

I have seriously considered letting Itty-Bitty out on the porch to meet Tasha. But the porch isn’t enclosed, and Tasha doesn’t back down, and for all I know, those two are the Gatekeeper and the Keymaster. And I’m all out of ghost traps!

Oh, yes, she does. She SO does. If Mick was a few years younger, she’d take care of it.

I have to say that I’m extremely fortunate that I have a Rotten Ralph. He’s like The Godfather or a Kingpin, he keeps everyone in order. Except for Ella, she totally owns him and has him whipped. When she starts getting too rambunctious, he sits on her.

When I take the dog on her first morning walk, the cat leaves her cozy ottoman bed and follows us around, like our very own security detail.

Is that an earbud I see in your security guard’s ear?

I’m so glad you posted this.!
I was going to suggest the OP borrow Rotten Ralph so he could sit on Itty-Bitty and make a Panini Sammich!
