We need some cute Kitty pics to cheer us up

He would sit on her too, he could teach Hammie how best to deal with her.

He’s also very gentle with Billie Holiday, it’s like he recognizes and respects females.

That is exactly what she needs! I’ll box her up and FedEx her to you for a week so she can go through Ralph Boot Camp!

Ralph’s rule of thumb.

If you can’t reason with it…sit on it!

According to my son’s co-workers, he talks about our cats a lot. Hats off to the two women that thought up and created this cake for his recent birthday.

And yesterday was Hammie’s anniversary! Two years ago, I rescued a kitten stuck on a fence and got one of the best cats ever.

:smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Silo!!!

@CanadianTrotter I made that cake for a party once. My recipe had me crumble a layer (8" round baked separately from the sheet) & color crumbs in 2 batches: blue & green to look like the litter. Not as many Tootsie Rolls used
I used a brand new poopscoop to serve :smirk:

. . . And gave us here one of the nail-bitingest threads! I’m so glad he pulled through those first nerve-wracking months.

I’m critter-sitting at my sister’s for the week. I may be going home with a 5th cat.

I had an, er, eccentric English teacher in high school who dressed up as a witch for Halloween and made “kitty litter” (aka muddy buddies) that she served with a poopscoop.

Same teacher sent us seniors out to the rest of the school to read The Cat In the Hat on Dr Seuss’s birthday. Need I say more? Best. English. Teacher. Ever.

It was touch and go for a couple of weeks, for sure … I was afraid we would lose him when he developed peritonitis. That Sunday morning emergency run, when his temp was 104, scared me to death.

You need a 5th cat, BTW!

That’s hilarious! It’s an accurate reflection of the litter box at my house since the turds are mostly uncovered.

Your son must be a great guy if he talks about your cats a lot. :slightly_smiling_face:

They sent me pictures of everyone eating a piece. They went all out with helium balloons, streamers, cat ears party hats and drew cat faces on the paper plates.

I think they used brown sugar for the litter topping. The litter catcher mat was a cute addition.

He shares cat pictures with them too! Billie is his cat and she sleeps with him every night, because she adopted the Kittens With Mittens they pile on his bed through the night as well.

Have your phone ready the next time he does that. We need a picture.

ETA: Oops, posted too soon. I see you already obliged. That’s hysterical.

That’s adorable! Glad they took the artistic high road with the paper plates—I was reading your post and thinking the whole time that you’re going to say that they drew cat booties on the plates!:rofl::rofl:

Here’s the candidate! I can’t get a nice still photo as if I’m close enough he’s walking over to me. He’s so friendly! He has striking blue eyes to go with his unusual washed-out gray tabby color.

A charge . . .

And a pounce . . .

Yes, you have to bring him home. Look at the floofy fat tummy! Look at the blue eyes! Just think how good he’ll look in your house! He is the perfect accessory!
