There is a horse at my boarding barn that weaves at times. In the first stall he was in, he would weave much of the time. Moving him to another stall helped immensely and we don’t know why. Doesnt weave outside except when waiting at the gate to come in.
Another horse that weaved was more of a problem. He weaved and paced. If shod, he pulled shoes. If barefoot, he wore his feet in ways that challenged the trimmer. He was often body sore. He paced outside no matter the turnout situation. It was sad and we all wished we could find a way to make him happy. It was a long time ago and I dont know what became of him.
