I have a calico that is extremely loving and affectionate to me only.
Her mother, who is an orange tabby is the one that’s stuck to me like glue. 
I can’t believe people told you to euth her! Just because she has no perceived “life”. Sure she does-she has you! I don’t know why people think cats need/should go out. Some have no desire (like one of mine-terrified of it!). Funny because if this were a small dog, I don’t think people would be telling you to put her down. Instead she would be a “devoted” companion.
