Either im ground zero for the newest infectious disease; left-leg-abscess-itis, or I have an aggressive snake living somewhere the horses are hanging out.

What’s their turnout situation? Snakes would freak me out. Yikes!

8ish acres of pasture with access to the barn. Theres no trees in the pasture; some growing on the other side of the fence but none inside. And no tall grass or bushes or anything.

I’ve been on the lookout for the snake but haven’t seen anything. The latest victim is feeling better but still a little ouchy.
