I had a gelding that absolutely loved white wine.
We had company and after dinner they wanted to see the horses. We all had wine and my gelding was very interested in my wine. I dunked a finger in mine and he licked it off and wanted more, so I went inside and got a shatterproof tumbler and poured him a glass. He dunked his tongue in the the glass and didn’t stop until the wine was gone. He was ecstatic.
It was a great discovery because he was really nervous around the vet. However, if I gave him a glass of wine, as the vet was examining him, he was so enamored with it that the vet could do anything to him and he didn’t care.
I miss him, he was a character.

My jumper loves hard seltzer of any variety! He’s gotten very skilled at drinking it from a can.

Mine also love ginger snaps and animal crackers. And pretty much any cereal, though I guess it’s not much different than grain. They like Kashi granola and Cracklin’ Oat Bran best.
