Oh, Go Fish - you made my day! People used to ask if I missed showing (after I’d sold last horse a couple decades ago). All I could think of was a showmanship class at about 8:30 a.m. in Syracuse - with sweat running down my face and back. Looking forward to saddle seat, hunt seat & western classes later in the day, when it was likely to be near 90. Miss showing? Nope, not so much. :slight_smile:

Fond memories of the equitation suits with the ‘iron maiden’. Mine were poly, and I really liked the smooth look. And I liked the monotone (chaps, oufit, hat) look very much, not necessarily all the same color, but complementary. WITHOUT GLITZ.

Also very much prefer (probably due to hunt seat/dressage background) the “California” look of the romal and accompanying headset.

Those were the days, my friend…we thought they’d never end…but they did…
