One of the best things I did was insulate my tack room. In winter an electric space heater with a thermostat set at 40 (and a tipover shut off!) keeps my liquids unfrozen, in summer it is much cooler than the rest of the stable because of the concrete floor. I run a very small dehumidifier in there in the summer which keeps my leather from molding.
