What brand dressage saddle for Arabian?

they all are- they are made by lovett and Rickets[/QUOTE]

Yes, they are all made by the same company. My AP only says “Arabian Saddle Company,” and my dressage saddle only says “Lovett and Rickets.” So what I was trying to get across is that if the OP starts looking for an Arabian Saddle Company dressage saddle, she might not find all her options out there.

I have a partbred Shagya Arabian with a broad and short back. She really likes her Schleese Jes Elite with banana panels and moves very well in it. I rather like it from my perspective as well. Last summer I was in shock over going to a customized saddle, but have no regrets and feel it was worth every cent. I appreciate that it can be adjusted as my mare changes with advancing work. It’s been a wise investment that I care for well so I don’t ever have to buy her another one.

Cac…there is a saddle that my saddlefitter says can be fitted to 99% of horses…I just bought one …Trainers Jessica. I hope you guys can get them there…I am in Australia.
Most comfiest saddle…puts me in the a really good position:)

Ditto on the Passier.

I have an old Grand Gilbert with gussets.

Had the saddle fitter reflock the panels and adjust the billets towards the back, so they don’t lift the back off his back when I tighten the front billet.

Also, try a Mattes correction pad underneath?

I’ll keep beating my drum since I love this saddle so much…Thornhills Vienna 2. Arabs LOOOOOVE these and both that I know who were sore in the old saddles are going better in just one ride. Only $850. Contact me if you want more info. It puts me in an excellent position and is breaking in very nicely.

I have an Arabian stallion that has been very hard to fit. I can’t spend the money on a custom saddle so I bought a treeless dressage saddle and it has been the answer for us. He is very happy and his trainer was able to adapt to it rather quickly. She is all about his comfort, so no complaints from her, other than she was going to develop some killer thigh muscles. But after 3 months she rides in that saddle without any problems and he is SO happy.

We have 2 old Passiers, 35 & 40 yrs, and they seem to be very comfortable for all concerned. We bought a Wintec last year with a deeper seat but I don’t think it fits the horses as well.
