Not to scare you, but just so you are aware (hopefully it is just a scratch.) Cats will get it through infected fleas (from ground squirrels, prairie dogs) or through biting infected rodent.

Thanks…I think…for this infor!! This cat is “perfectly” healthy with a good appetite and plenty of energy. Probably not a victim of the Plague!! The Betadine is drying it up and the tissue is still normal pink and healthy looking. No smell or pus.
