What do you pay for full training in your area?

The only full training barn I know of is 1,000€
we pay 400€ board 25€ turnout and 30€ per lesson or training ride. We blanket our own horses for the most part.

I’m in Ontario.
B level barns who attend some A shows seem to run anywhere from $300 for outdoor board with a la carte pricing for lessons and training rides to $600 for board + $400 for training/lessons.
A level barns with BNT would be closer to $800-$1500 for basic board, training could run anywhere from an additional $400-$1000.
Many of the BNT barns will have “minimum” programs that you’re required to pay for, even if you don’t use them.

I personally prefer a la carte services and itemized billing. I spent enough years grooming in several BNT barns to know that not every training ride was done by a pro. I get that it makes sense for people who can’t make it to the barn as often as they’d like.

Full training (including full board) is $725.00. I am in the midwest.

Wow, where are you? What’s included? What amenities? What level are the shows and trainer qualification? That’s why it’s so difficult to compare just the price.

findeight
I am in Missouri, in the sticks, which is probably why. Trainer is mostly doing eventing, but also does show jumping and dressage of course. Board includes 12 hours turnout, feeding, supplements, rugging, farrier/vet/chiro visits, unlimited theraplate, indoor and outdoor arenas. Trainer is perfectly capable of going to most any level show, but most clients are regular folk with regular horse budgets, so recognized events, clinics and local shows mostly. As a plus she was a large animal vet tech for 5 years, so we have that going for us!

-Wellington Florida
-Small barn and program
-Board is $1,500 includes basic care, feed/hay. (Grooming board is $1,800, seasonal is $2,500 at our barn).
-Training is completely al a carte and I do two lessons per week and usually a training ride every other week and that is about an additional $600-800/month

When I researched Atlanta barns this spring (barns successfully doing A circuit and some higher-end locals but not necessarily a BNT) I found board-only typically ranged from $900-$1000, and training packages were an additional $350-$650/month with 8-16 rides or lessons included on average. “Full training” typically averaged around $1500, although I do know of a few that would be closer to $2000. And it was split about 50/50 on whether they have a covered/indoor or not.

I paid $2,000 for training board in central NJ - this included all the pro-rides and care of my horse, but would not have included my lessons. Pro rode horse 4 to 5 times a week.

Boise area, $1200 ish/month full care board and training (up to 5 rides/lessons per week). Excellent H/J trainer who does rated shows.

wow who would have thought it would be cheaper to keep your horse in USA than Aus!
Here full board would be about $600-$800 per month and if it was full training, you can count on $500 a week, probably more.
Do you guys supply all your feed?

Board alone is a minimum of $500, full training is 12-16 hundred a month.
