What do you use to Re-Weatherproof a sheet/rug/blanket?

4LCF - if you use Never Wet, hang your turnout on a fence or gate so that you can spray it with the spray bottle upright. Otherwise it won’t spray. With the turnout vertical the application gives a more even spray pattern as you do one side at a time. As you move from one side to the other, make sure you pull the turnout down a bit more on the second side so that you get the centerline of the back.

@GramV - which dollar store chain did you see the sale in? I may do one blanket in the Rustoleum NeverWet and one sheet in the camping/tent product and see which holds up better to time.

I have a large picnic table (outside) that is perfect to spread the sheet/blanket out on to spray/dry. Now finding a dry day where the temp is also warm enough is going to be the tricky part. I should have done them last spring when they were washed and put away for summer, but didn’t. :sadsmile:

It was the 99 Cent Only store, but with the “cent” symbol which they don’t have on computers! (That’s the name.) I went back to the original one I went to and another and it was all gone. If you buy it from Amazon it’s $7 for the two spray cans, and $12 at Walmart and Home Depot. For two cans, it’s about the same price as the camping stuff.

AH! :lol: Ok - we have “Dollar Tree” here, so not the same chain.

And a tip - you can make the ¢ (cent) symbol on any windows computer my holding down [ALT] and typing 155, then let go of [ALT].
