What fun or new things did you see or buy at Kentucky 2025?

Fairhill did the “buy one, get one free” saddle pads again. I just bought a dressage saddle and had no dressage saddle pads. I got 2 back on track, a Lemieux and a white Horz pad for $165!

I would like to know this too! Thx!!

I just remembered they had a list of the vendors on the website…it was called “Meanwhile Back On the Farm”!

They also had BOGO on a bunch of girths and the EquiFit leather show girth that I’d been stalking since I borrowed one this winter was included so that was an exciting find! I bought 2 sizes to make sure it fit and will sell the one that doesn’t fit, and someone else will get a good deal too!

Wow is that dark blue leather too? It’s certainly an eye catcher.

Yes I bought the half chaps (with fringe!) for $10 there too!

I wanted to see the Correct Connect girths in person, and happy to buy. Can report sensitive boy seems to approve! I also was able to try on multiple boots at Fair Hill and bought a pair half price that didn’t hurt my mangled foot that made it necessary to find something that worked. My weakness is tweed, and was disciplined enough to only buy some Free Ride breeches, BOGO;) I went Friday in the monsoon and bought a Dubarry Aquatech hat - not planned but my head stayed completely dry and comfortable!!! So that was ultimately my favorite purchase!

I was very tempted to try the correct connect girth for my guy, but it wasn’t in the budget at the moment. I did get 2 pairs of cute tweed looking breeches from FreeRide that were buy one get one 50% off. They are super cute. Other than that I think the only I thing I bought was a pair of gold fox earrings and some of the cowboy magic moisturizer which I LOVE and can’t find locally.

I bought a pair of Back On Track “Cool On Track” quick wraps.

I am not a BOT enthusiast, nor am I regular user of ice boots. However, these boots fascinated me. Just add water, and they have that evaporative cooling technology that feels COLD. The reps said the demon boots were soaked at 7am, and when I felt them at 1pm they were still extremely cold and my fingers felt icy for several minutes after handling them.

Right now I’m trailering two young racehorses to gallop every day, and they stand on the trailer while the other one works; right now they wear fly boots to reduce the stomping. I think letting them wear the cooling boots after galloping would be an excellent idea, and still prevent the fly stomping if nothing else.

The BOT booth was sold out of the cooling quick wraps, but they allowed me to order them with the show discount and free shipping.

That cooling fabric feels like witchcraft  I bought a towel for myself, hoping that might feel nice at an event.
