Yes, I took it to the trailer place right after hauling it home and dropped it off. I definitely didn’t budget enough for the floor! I asked for $500 off the price for the floor, but it’s going to be in the range of $800-900 to have it done. It will be custom, they will do a rhino-lining type coating instead of the resin/ epoxy. And I am so mad at myself, they told me the tires were only 5 years old, and I didn’t look at them close enough because I spent so much time going over the rest of the trailer in detail because it was so foreign to me. They are original from 2005. The thing that makes me mad is that I KNOW BETTER. Ugh. The trailer service place has worked on other Brenderups, and said that other than the floor and tires, the trailer is in great shape.
I did stop by the barn on the way to the trailer repair and did a test load. My horse didn’t seem to mind it terribly.
