My garage, which is between the barn and is the closest entry point into my house. Hubby put up saddle racks for my two saddles and I have hooks to hang my half chaps and helmet. Boots are stored on a shelf in the garage. I don’t have a tack room (yet) but this set up works fine for now.
Basement for me. But it’s not at all humid and I can keep things up off the floor.
In the tack room on my trailer. I have an older, draftier barn and if left in the tack room, everything gets covered in dust and cobwebs. My horse trailer is fancier than my barn and if it’s already on the trailer, then I don’t have to worry about forgetting it. I had extra bridle hooks and saddle racks installed for that purpose. It’s a 2+1, so there’s plenty of storage.
