Where to sell brown dressage saddle?

Is 16.5 rare because it’s under 17"? Is there more or less demand for smaller dressage saddles currently?

I have a 16" (as I recall) brown dressage saddle that I’ve been toying with the idea of selling for a few years, but don’t want to deal with trials or possible returns. So it’s been sitting. :sigh:

I do love brown dressage tack.

i’d be all over a brown saddle and i’m in Oregon so sad that the shop you contacted didn’t want to take it. i know Olson’s in Washington is looking for more saddles. really i bet it depends on what brand/model/age the one you’re trying to sell is.

Olson’s was one that told me no - so maybe it was the brand/size/color? I didn’t even have a chance to tell them the age.

I think 16" is pretty small, and I rarely see them - but would probably work for a teen or child! It could also depend on the seat - a flatter open seat might ride a little bigger than a super deep “lock-you-in” seat. If you didn’t personally want to do trials or returns, consignment would work better because they would be responsible for it while it was in their care (as far as I know).

It seems like the majority of dressage saddle makers don’t even offer a 16.5". I’ve been kind of looking for one off an on to replace my 16" County Competitor from about 1986, which is and okay but not great fit for my horse and I.
