I moved from NE Ohio to Central Florida - There is a lot of dressage action in our area; and without the chaos of Wellington. Prices are reasonable, much more turnout for horses than down south. I adjusted to the heat quite well. Lots of other stuff to do. Big show venue being built in Ocala, some indications that people are or will moving up that way from Wellington though too early to say its a trend.
Reminder that there are no state income taxes here, that saved me a bunch of $. Orlando is booming so lots of job opportunities.
Have a friend who moved to Tryon area and loves it. She wanted more climate variation.
