I love this thread too. I’ve recently started riding one of my friend’s gaited horses. The four of us were out last week (me, friend, two horses) and I was so happy being able to relax and enjoy riding without hearing comments from other riders on our saddles (neither western nor English), our boots (mine from Wal-Mart), our bridles (not dressage legal but comfortable for the horses and good for the riders). Who knows? One of these days I may ride in my schooling tights with my western boots!
