Who has a Smith-Worthington?

I deal direct with the factory as they have no dealers in the neighborhood. I bought a flattish saddle for hunting on clearance a couple of years ago and they were very fussy, in a good way, about getting the fit right via photos and measurements. And they got it right the first time. I had ridden years ago in SW’s belonging to hunters who’d been at it since the 1930s. And George Washington used them too.:)[/QUOTE]

Yes, if I have a complaint, it’s that my saddle took forever to get to me (3-4 weeks). However, that’s partially because I took forever to get them measurements. But they were very concerned that I get the right saddle, in the right price range, and that it fit my horse very well.

Get it! I have an Avalon that’s almost 20 years old and despite the fact that my leg has outgrown it since I got it as a teen, I will never part with it - it still looks new and is my favorite saddle that I’ve ever been in!

No one will see the suede when you’re in it!
