the clinic is being held at Kealani Farm in West Grove. They just added a potential 3rd day for riding. Auditing is $60 per day and includes the cocktail party and lunch, bring a chair. Payment is to Venmo @melissa-stubenberg Tiffany Wandy is organizer and posts about the clinic on Facebook.
Iāve ridden with him a couple of times now. In my experience, he set up a short course and from there tailored an exercise or a few to address whatever he felt needed improvement. Heās not one to jump the legs off of a horse and offers plenty of opportunities to recover.
Have a blast. Itās an unforgettable experience!
My late TBxQH mare, Night Music, was of the same opinion. It was a regular lesson with my usual instructor, and we had worked up to a row of 4 fences as bounces. 1 to 2 was a bounce. 2 to 3 was a bounce. 3 to 4 was a WIDE oxer!
She wasnāt the scopiest, and she wasnāt brave cross country, but she did TRY to please
āthatās a bounceā
Cudo: āHold my beerā
Fantastic photo, and video! Hope youāll update post-clinic to share your thoughts on how things went? Itās always nice when those of us who stay to endure the frozen tundra have learning opportunities too (I hope your weather is cooperative!!)
Thatās so interesting. A good friend of mine who is an excellent horsewoman (had shown Grand Prix jumpers, trained babies, ridden with plenty of tough people) moved to England to train with him and had a really terrible experience.
Any details forthcoming?
Ya I know that itās two weeks away but @Xctrygirl you are gonna come back and give us all the details and pics right? Thatās a bucket list clinic for me Iāll have to get vicariously through you and Cudo.
Ok weekend recep:
- Video from schooling Cudo. TL:DW - Cudo is PLENTY fit and will be fine and even if heās not 100% ready, heās bursting full of adrenaline and energy from being off for a year. Video is only 90 seconds long fyi.

Spoke to folks doing the current southern clinicā¦weāre hearing poles, short courses to work on issues etc.
-
Further explanation about height, the sense is that while you will get to the height youāre entered in but wonāt be overworked at the height. Lots of resting opportunities and kindness from the clinician as a whole.

Biggest thing I am waiting to hear now is the dress code for the cocktail party with William on Tuesday night. #Stressshopping

Holy moly, that front end!
That was his plane ticket to the USA.

For the one at Loch Moy Iām pretty sure the reception will be right after the clinic so Iām sure not to many people will get too gussied up for the party
Hi all! I really wanted to audit the clinic coming up in Maryland on Monday but itās been sold out for weeks. As the day gets closer Iām getting more bummed out about missing it.
Sooo - Iām making a last ditch effort to see if anyone has a ticket they wonāt be using or has an unfilled groom slot?
Have you emailed Carolyn/Loch Moy directly about an audit spot? Try that!
Oooh thatās a good idea! Thanks!
So friggin pleased with Cudo. Heās coming back to form in all the right ways and timing. This clip is from our lesson yesterday with our regular trainer. We were happy to be back and working on exercises that help break things down in subtle ways. Priscilla has been a huge pivot point in helping to improve our journey as a team. I love everything about her lessons and always come away happy.
Weāll ship somewhere today, probably to Boydās massive indoor, to flat and mercifully bring Cudo home tonight. Thank God Hallelujah.
Iām all for making an effort to get fit for something with an indoor where possible, but the last 5 weeks have been burning the candle at both ends and in the middle to handle both barns and self care at Phillipās combined with my workday and my home and dogs.
Iām very excited to return Cudo to our normal and double his current hours of turnout again. I think heāll be happier too.
Monday heāll either be off or do the worldās lightest hack. Tues and Weds are the clinic. Very excited and canāt really wait.
Thanks for following along!

they are full for auditors - Carolyn/Loch Moy was only allowing a certain number of auditors, and will be given wristbands which will be checked.
I just came here to say, that Emily did a freakishly amazing job in the clinic (Iām sure she will chime in) and that if anyone has the opportunity to ride with WFP, do it. It was such an incredible experience that stressed the fundamentals of riding into clear, consistent expectations.
And I now know why all the Brits win everythingā¦ find every random object around the farm, pile it up, scatter the piles around the arena, create courses using the piles. lol.
None of the questions were unfair, and he handled a very naughty horse in one of the groups very fairly (IMO) by breaking down everything that it could be walked over, and then giving the horse a lead the next day. The biggest challenge, I thought, was remembering the courses but he just redirected me when needed. One of the perks of getting old I assume.
I will post the videos I have to my public page if anyone wants to see the pattern, I know someone also livestreamed one of the lessons to Facebook.
So that payment was worth it. Thanks!!! LOL
I promise I just did what I could and the course of narrows/skinnies was more nerve wracking than ANY of the big (1.35m+ courses) that Iāve ever done. But damn did Cudo show up. Man, I LOVE that horse. And so does Williamā¦ so thatās nice.
Iām at work now but will try to write a clinic report later.
Hereās one pic to keep you all entertained. And I was scared/worried for this fence.

One of my barn mates rode in it today, canāt wait to hear the recap! Well done Em, love your journey with Cudo.
