Who owns Dutch Warmblood?

Fabian is GORGEOUS! Always a favorite of mine. I now have a Dutch coming 4yr old by Trento B out of a Gribaldi mare. The greatest horse ever  I attached a photo of him 3 mos under saddle. karen

Very Handsome!

Karen - lovely uphill canter in a youngster.
I have always envied those of you who have
the intestinal fortitude to ride the babies -
I don’t even want to know them until they
are 5 or 6! I am quite sure that I would never
have purchased Fabian if I knew him as a
youngster.
Are you a NE transplant that you have seen us?
Dot

Hi Dot,

I have actually been transplanted to PA, after a long career in New England. Fabian has always been a horse that I have gone out of my way to see as he looks very happy in his work ans is such phenominal mover. I actually prefer starting my own horses and riding babies, and do it for a living now. Hope your New Year is filled with joy. Karen Monks Reilly

Ok - here’s my home bred KWPN grand-daughter - think I did this correctly ! - doing I-1 Freestyle for the very first time !

Lovely photo and lovely pair. WOW! Did you school her all the way up? The background is beautiful!

As the breeder, I schooled her to 3rd level and the rider, a Gold medalist with a gold in Freestyle as well , has brought her along from 3rd and will show the mare GP this coming year - this is her 8th self trained GP horse ! Photo is from the main arena at Del Mar 08 -

Hi Karen:

Nice to hear from you. At least in Pennsylvania, you are
closer to Devon - I qualified every year, but was too afraid
to truck over the Tappen Zee :). Say hello to your mother
for me.
Dot

I have a four year old Ferro x Samber ster mare, she is extremely talented and will hopefully be an exciting prospect for me in the future.

I also bred this year, a Goodtimes x Flemmingh filly who is a keeper!

I’m on my third generation of Dutch horses.

I bought an imported Dutch Ster mare by Pericles xx Pref out of a Gelderlander dam line going back to mares and stallions loaded with predicates.

I have her two daughters, Mariah Ster, and Natasha STB. Sire is B. Rolando, a son of G. Ramiro Z Pref out of Terma, Keur Pref Prestatie, by Abgar Pref. B. Rolando is a full brother to Armstrong, champion of the jumping portion of the Dutch test and a ¾ brother to Zeoliet, who is known for producing jumpers and dressage horses. B. Rolando was Vice Champion of 5-year-old stallions for the Oldenburg Verband.

The third generation …

Mariah’s kids:
Tobias by Riverman
Whitney by Iroko Keur (died in pasture accident)
Zip Code by Routinier
Abigail by Iroko Keur
Bonnie Bedelia by Pablo
(Dystocia)
(Pregnancy aborted)

Natasha’s kids:
Tate by Kaspareit
(Foal died at one week)
Deusi by Ikoon

Over the years, there have been kids lost and pregnancies gone awry.

Both sisters are open for 2009, due to the economy.

I would love to linebreed one of the mares… to Larino or Zurich … which would repeat the bloodline of Terma, the paternal grandmother of my two mares.
