Who takes their divider out and hauls in a box?

Your thinking and mine are the same re the actual wall  I do plan to stay in it when I start doing 2+ day shows next year.

I negotiated and got a decent chunk knocked off the price. Absolutely everything was handled by email with, I think, only one phone call. It was nice to have a record of all my questions and the answers to them. Everything from this is the year, model and style of my truck, will it fit without adjusting truck or trailer, to when exactly were the brakes last done, and what is the exact age of the tires. Super, super service

ETA - handling by email was my choice - I hate the phone lol

Please tell us more

I have a 2-horse BP by Equispirit and when I ordered the trailer it came with an option for a butt bar that would go the entire width of the trailer. With the divider removed and that longer butt bar it made a great box stall.

Can I hijack a little and ask if anyone has done this with a Brenderup? I have a big horse with PSSM who dislikes my Brenderup’s stalls, and would probably prefer a loose box. I can buy a $300 one piece butt bar but that’s a chunk of change if it doesn’t work…

I’ve started travelling with the divider of my slant load tied open but am divided as to whether it is better or not.

a) She has more room, fits better but

b) she does not have the divider padding to lean on.

She seems to travel well, I never hear a movement. I do tie her because she could, just, turn around and that would mean she’s turned into a pretzel and could get hurt, especially if the trailer is moving. I tie her long to give her some freedom if needed.

In the slant load slot, she rubs her butt against the top door and also her shoes mark up the side of the trailer - she’s a tight fit.

Overall, I’m going with the box arrangement, until l change my mind.
