This guy has an Oldenburg sire (grandsire is Weltmeyer) and his dam is a Belgian draft x Paint. I have a bit of a soft spot for this one since he’s mine

All that to to say IMO they are all “good” horses, and from looking st that there is no objective way to decide one is “nicer” than the other, regardless of breeding.

Hmm…I would guess welsh cob…lovely!

Friesian Cross. The neck and body type screams Friesian.

Pretty close! 1/2 Welsh cob, 1/2 unidentified pony mare, thought to be Arab, Shetland, Welsh who-knows-what cross… I guess that wasn’t very hard, hahahaha!

Knabstrupper cross. The head and neck do NOT say Appaloosa!

See, crosses are hard. This one has zero Friesian in him…

hmm…much tougher. I want to say something like Cleveland bay or Irish draft

I suspect it is an Appy x WB cross

I’d go with Morgan (thought I think I’m wrong as the head isn’t quite right). I LOVE the butt and neck, that’s my kinda horse

Cutie! Is it TB?

I’m going with Draft/Tbred cross on that one…

Nope, he’s 1/2 Welsh Cob, and 1/2 pony of unknown origins (suspected to be Welsh/Arab/Shetland or some such mix - she was small). That is the black one, not the bay…

Not close. Typical of a cross breed, they are MUCH tougher to identify

She is a TB. But I’d say not a typical build… Was a flunk at the track but is quite the dressage horse.

Crap lol…I mean the face actually reminds me of a Conemerra cross I knew…so basically, I have no idea hahaha

Handsome! My Weltmeyer is a pain in the ass! Although he does have hot/difficult jumper blood likes on the other side (he’s KWPN). When I first bought him my friend said “Weltmeyer? Hell no!” and a few people have been able to ID that part of his pedigree easily due to his looks/traits.

On a side note: there are some NICE TB/Draft crosses out there. I’ve lusted over many and if I buy another horse, that combo is on the top of my list.

Feel fee to take a guess at this somewhat unflattering picture. I feel that there are some pictures where it’s super obvious but I’ll post those after. Photo angles and action shots can really change the “look” of the horse sometimes.

Cleveland Bay? QH?
Whatever breed, critter is standing as if has sore hind suspensory apparatus, has that been looked into?

I purposely chose a mediocre picture. He doesn’t normally stand like that. I was trying to get him to stay and he kept moving or standing weird in various poses…of course. Horse was recently examined by vet/chiro (follow up from minor adjustment months ago), no soreness and it was noted he’s quite flexible and moves well. But thanks for the concern!
