Why are my horses growing mustaches? *pics added - page 2

Not me! I’ve been around horses for over 50 years and I’ve never seen a horse with a mustache.

Sounds like a scene from a creepy sci-fi where glowing green rats and two headed cows are sharing a barn shot with horses that have mustaches and soul patches.

Have seen mustaches on other horse’s never my own horse’s. Personally it would be clipped off not at all cute, rather dumb looking on a horse.

I have literally never seen a mustache before. I was picturing the chin/goat hairs some shaggy horses get. A MUSTACHE?! My mind it being blown right now.

Eeeeee quick go to google images and type “horse growing mustache” it’s the best thing ever

My friend has a mustache horse. This is definitely intriguing…especially because your mustaches are new!! Not sure how long my friend’s horse has been mustached but he’s full handlebar status.

I love it! They’ve got furry lips!

I know that Friesians can grow mustaches, but personally have never seen them on a horse. Maybe they do grown them but from always looking for food they normally wear them off? Huh interesting!

I’ve never seen this to notice before, but then I haven’t been looking. I wouldn’t register it as wierd if I saw it, just very cute. I wouldn’t trim, but then I am not a trimmer of whiskers or ears, and would figure the mustache served a purpose.
