Why I feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman

Thanks everyone for being so helpful. I took an intro lesson with great trainer who has a very small program and didn’t bat an eye at my 10 year old eventing gear. I am on her wait list with no expectation that I show - just focus on skill and polish over low fences. Goals

Now onto finding an intro driving clinic. My husband wants to learn to drive as well. What a great day!

I think I would start here for more info on driving:

I don’t know anyone in that club, and some are more active than others so I have no idea if you will get a helpful response. But if you don’t, as I told two bays in an earlier post, I can hook you up with a driver in Middleburg, VA if that isn’t too much of a drive. I’m not sure when the Metta Baxter clinic is, our club doesn’t finalize the schedule until August, but typically it’s in the first quarter of the year. Florida in January… Just sayin’…

Chiming in as a driving n00b; it’s a blast!

When I bought my fjord, he was already broke to drive and I figured I’d be remiss not to learn something from him. A harness, a trailer, an EZ entry cart (for now), and a driving trainer later here I am! Fjord is proving to be great under saddle but you can tell driving is his jam.

If you haven’t seen it yet in tack shops, Horse of the Delaware Valley is a great resource magazine for your area!
