The only working chance to me is to separate by winnings. Like ranking points. So you don’t have to split by age just by points.
If you win alot one year you will have to show against riders who won as much as you. If you never win you show against people who never win.
Age or income don’t really make you a better rider. Seperating Juniors and adults is OK.
But just because you are 50 it does not mean you can not beat the 25 year old.
it would also keep the professionelle Amateur in one group of ribbons (if they win so much) and the average income people in the other (if they don’t win as much)
works well in Germany
