wide paddock boots.

I have been getting foot pain from my paddock boots. They are ok while i wear them, but afterwards my feet are sore. I am looking for a lighter boot for summer, in brown if possible that is a wider width. What do you suggest? i am currently in Dublin brand.( not a very expensive boot, but were given to me brand new.)

Try an insert. They made a huge difference for me. I use these in every pair of shoes or boots I own, and they seem to make a big difference.

Ariat Terrains are fairly wide and are available in a C width as well.

Ariat also makes a round toe paddock boot that is more roomy than most riding boots.

They are already too snug, that is the problem. i don’t need inserts, i need wider boots.

These are like sneakers, and i need them to look like boots. So these won’t work. Thanks.

I like these Twisted X work boots: https://twistedx.com/product/wab0001/

They don’t come in a wide width, but they are plenty roomy enough for my wide feet. I always have to get shoes and boots in a wide width, so I was surprised that these fit so well. Twisted X always seem like they run a little small; I wear a half size larger than normal with this brand. These boots are also light and very soft. The only drawback is that they’re not waterproof.

Dehner makes a stock paddock boot in C width. I have a similar problem…I’ll get a paddock boot and wear it, think it’s ok, and a week later I’m miserable. I just ordered these to see if it will help. I called Dehner directly. I couldn’t find a tack shop that sold C width. I’ve taken out the insole before-which helped a little.

Yes, but unless things have changer they are much less expensive boot, and resistant to bending with each step, leading to very tired feet.

I’ve maintained my search for a wide paddock boot that is comfortable for my feet w high arches and scars on top from surgery. Thursday’s Boot Co makes one called the Captain which is lace up. It has a supportive foot bed - I feel stable in it- but does not create a pressure point anywhere in my arch area. They were snug the first time I put them on, but they’ve given and are now quite comfortable. I hope this helps someone.
